Ron Jensen
President and CEO

Ron Jensen's dynamic career includes executive positions both in large public companies and private equity backed ventures. Prior to joining PPI in 2003, Ron served as:

President of Outboard Marine Corporation's International Group and as a Vice-President and elected Officer of the Corporation. Ron restructured a money-losing global business and turned it into a steady profit maker.

Vice-President, Manufacturing for Outboard Marine Corporation. In this role Ron was responsible for a tightly linked group of nine "just-in-time" plants all run with "lean manufacturing" methods. He was also responsible for global capital planning to encompass up to twenty-three plants and eleven business units. Total corporate revenue was approximately $2.4 billion.

President & CEO of Graphic Arts Center and President of the Mail-Well High Impact Group. This was a business based on high color printing and graphics. Business units included high color fine printing, light carton production and internet-based graphic asset management. Ron improved and integrated operations to create significant savings across all business units. He also planned and executed four acquisitions to help grow the business four-fold. Total corporate revenue was approximately $500 million.

Chairman, President & CEO, Kelmscott Communications LLC, a private equity backed venture. Ron started this business and grew it to about $150 million with eleven acquisitions.

Ron also has significant experience devising strategy and building businesses in China, Europe, Mexico, South America, Australia and Asia. This global perspective and considerable leadership experience, both in large and small organizations, has enabled Ron to significantly enhance PPI's ability to lead the sorbent industry through innovation and improved efficiency.

Ron is a member of the Board of Regents, the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is also a member of the Executive Club of Chicago.
